The bus trip that inspired the novel “The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test” started in June 14, 1964. Several young people who regularly used LSD and proclaimed its benefits, boarded a bus named “Furthur” and started an eastward journey.
“The Death of the Mind” is a multimedia art piece that was made by Thomas Leary. This piece of art attempts to show how LSD consumption affects the mind. Leary toured campuses with this piece to encourage students to follow their own psychedelic religions.
